On this page you will find a number of sound samples that represent just a few of the musical skills and wealth of talent available through Musicmakers. The clips are in two formats, Real Audio and WAV.
Real Audio is highly compressed and is 'streamed' over the internet.
This means you do not have to wait for the whole sample to download before playing it. Instead, once you have clicked on a link, the sample will begin to play almost immediately whilst continuing to download in the background. In order to play this file format you must have the latest release of the Real Audio Player. If you do not have Real Audio Player click on the button on the right to download your FREE copy. The average size of these files is 150kb. Clicking on A link will open the Real Audio player and it will begin to play automatically.
WAV versions are in native Windows WAV format, the quality is better than Real Audio however the file size is far greater and these files must be downloaded in their entirety before playing. The average size of these files is 400 KiloBytes.
